Rumor has it that the iSlate (iTablet, iWhatever , iAmReallyTiredOfThingsSta rtingWithI) is priced at $999. Hmm. Too high IMHO, I was hoping to see a price under $500. $1K competes too much with the MacBook Air and even a MacBook, and I doubt it will have the power of either. I hope this rumor is wrong!

And have to pay $30 a month for data? I'm fairly confident that AT&T won't allow us to piggyback a tablet onto our iPhone data plan, so that's still more money out the door.
