I have seen chart plotters on swing away arms so they can viewed from the cockpit and swung into the cabin when not needed. I imagine this could be done with the iPad. Does anyone have a suggestion as to finding an arm which does not cost an arm and a leg?

Mountguys.com say that they will have an iPad-adapted version of their universal swing arm in a few weeks.

Mountguys.com has a few mounts for iPad. I am getting a gooseneck, designed for mounting to the floor of a car. I intend to mount it on a hatch board section

I've just bought a bracket and mount for ipad 2 (doesn't work for new ipad) - see eBay Item number: 260950850498 - excellent!
