I have two corrupted charts that I would like to remove from the program. I see in the chart manager that I can remove the entire folder of charts, but not individual charts.

In the filesystem, the chart names don't match or correspond in any way I can determine to the names listed in the chart manager. How can I figure out which charts to delete?

And relatedly, I know that I have some multiple charts covering a single area (and not just different scales, I mean identical charts by different creators). How do I choose between them, or inactivate one over the other, etc?

PolarView 1.1 is out there

2. View entire chart on iPhone screen (for overview)
3. Move to adjacent chart (hard, I know)

I wonder if someone can help? I purchased MacENC for my laptop. I also just ordered Fugawi vector charts (S-57) of West Coast Canada for MacENC.

Can these vector charts be used on iNavX or another iphone app?

My goal is to have an iPhone chart app for use in my tender, hopefully one with chaprts that I can also use with MacENC on my boat so as to avoid purchasing two sets of charts.

What is the best solution to accomplish this goal?

AyeTides has been updated to v1.73. I've fixed a crash when viewing moon events and there weren't the number of events that I had anticipated. Also adjusted the time zone abbreviation for Australia; for some reason Eastern Australia standard time and daylight time used the same abbreviation - EST! Made it difficult to figure out if DST was on or not.

The update should be available soon on the App Store.

I'm using MacENC and the NOAA ENC and raster charts. I have access to a large-format printer, and would like to print out various raster charts in large format (say, 24 x 36 inches), but I can't find an option to simply select the desired RNC and print it.

Does this option exist and I'm not looking hard enough, or can I only print the RNC as shown on the screen?

Can anyone recommend a 10 to 12 inch remote monitor that would be suitable for use with a MacBook Pro and MacENC.

I am a newbie. I have purchased MacENC and downloaded the NOAA charts. I use snow leopard. What is the best source for Canadian charts covering western waters, from Vancouver north, on the inside, and also west coast of Vancouver Island? Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you might provide.

Has anyone here tried Maxsea TZ in person? It looks like they're really pushing things ahead (the weather features are the most appealing to me, not as interested in the 3D, since I'm not sure if the Mapmedia charts have this feature in Australia).

I'm currently using MacENC and some of the older style Navionics charts (I bought the wrong ones, not the "gold" ones... damn!)

I'm installing a waterpoof, sun-readable touchscreen at the helm, and trying to decide if I should stick with MacENC, or switch over to the "other side" where there appears to be a bit more innovation happening.

I'd love to hear input from others. Perhaps I should just stick with what i've already paid for, and keep it simple?

The new Maxsea interface also looks more suited to touch-screen usage.

Hello, I like what I read about GPSNavX and have reviewed the available charts on the site's links. Our cruising grounds are primarily the Virgin Islands from PR to the BVI. From what I see with the charts available it seems to me that we would be better with the navx and raster charts rather then ENC and the vector charts. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of the two types of charts and software? I don't want to end up wishing I had spent the extra money for.
