I purchased the 2011 edition of the above chart via X-Traverse, to replace the 2010 edition on my iPad. After downloading it I seem to have two 2010 editions on my iPad.

What have I done wrong?

Make sure you have turned "28XG United Kingdom & Ireland" to "ON" in the "Gold Marine Charts 2011" and are selecting the first "28XG" that shows in the iNavX main menu.

You will need to select "Update Chart List" in the "28XG" region then select a chart, then select download all to have the latest charts. They will be dated Nov 30, 2011.

Glad that got fixed. The mixing up of 2010 versus 2011 editions of charts does indeed trigger a "...please upgrade..." error in iNavX; i.e. the app is saying 2010 is not on your account, suggests you buy it. But you have 2011 and that's the one waiting to download without errors.

I've attached a JPG image indicating how to distinguish one year's edition from another under the "Add more charts to menu" section.
