Is this possible with MacENC? - cyberhusky - May 9, 2006 As MacENC does use vectorgfx and layers is it possible to set up in preferences the boats draught and MacENC does colorize in transparent light red or any other color the regions in the chart that are critical to this depth? If not is such a feature planned in future versions? Or is this just a bad idea? Thx for any reply. - GPSNavX - May 9, 2006 Not a bad idea, but here is what is planned for the next release. A user selectable shallow water alarm. Based on position or the end of the velocity vector MacENC will monitor soundings. If the soundings are less than the alarm depth, the alarm will occur. MacENC already does colorize the depth soundings ranges. The ranges are preset in the ENC data. |
