In order to continuosly improve the iNavX, I sugest the following:
1- Divide the velocity vector in 1min marks
2- Dissociate the LOA and draft info in the AIS ballon from the subdistances unit configuration. Better have LOA and draft with option to be either in feet or meter, still keeping the possibility to choose the subdistance in NM or cables, independently
3- ERBL from own ship.
thanks. I'm a serious user and iNavX is a great product. Keep up with the good work

Waypoint Activation locks INavX

Im am using INavX on my iPad (first Gen) getting NMEA data over TCP/IP from my laptop using the Coastal Explorer data server. AIS and GPS infor are displayed perfectly, but if I set the app to receive Waypoint info it locks with the screen blinking "Waypoint 0001 activated" and there seemingly is no way to unlock the screen without doing a "hard" reset of the iPad.
What is going on?

I'l be setting up a new A/V, back up nav computer based around a new Mac Mini. Wondering what is the maximum RAM MacENC can use?
I currently use an older macbook pro set up for photoshop with 8GB Ram and Mac ENC seems to run well. This new unit won't do any heavy lifting so don't plan to install any more RAM than what MacENC can use.
Thanks in advance.

I've tried using the Dual xgps 150 and Inavx with the iPad Mini, and while the BT connects correctly, and the Inavx software works great, I could not get the gps to connect to Inavx.I made sure the Location Service was "on" for the Inavx.
(It all works fine as long as I'm on Wi Fi)
Any thoughts on this problem?
Thanks

Cannot Tile or Stitch Raster Charts

I just bought iNavX. I wan to use it with raster charts of the Sea of Cortex (Mexico). I also tried it on West Coast raster charts.
As I scroll to the edge of a chart, the app does not automatically bring up the next chart. It also does not automatically zoom into more detailed charts. This is a fundamental requirement for a charting app and is found in other apps, such as Simple Carts and Coastal Explorer.
I checked with iNavX support and they confirmed that it would not do this. It does, apparently, move to the next chart when navigating, but I have yet to see this.
Does anyone have comments?

World chart access while using chart pack offline

Sorry if this a FAQ: I'm trying to convert another long distance cruiser off the chartplotter onto iNavX. Two issues:
1. We are in South Pacific. How do I re-center the screen to 180? Zero is useless 'center' when crossing the pacific.
2. What can she use for long range route planning? I can't recall how to access the inbuilt world chart when already inside a pack. And I can't find any planning scale charts in the chart store.
