Hi,
I would have preferred to ask this question in reply to :

on the tips and tricks section to the Brookhouse iMux :
Detail is given on how to connect via serial or wifi connection.
I would have preferred to add a serial to bluetooth converter on the brookhouse, eg using a aircable serial5, would MacEnc be then able to recognise the frames via bluetooth too? This way the wifi is not busy and can be used for something else. I thought it could be convenient. Anyone has ever tried this ?

Hi there .. new to the group and looking for some info on using Mac ENC for route planning and waypoints with a Raymarine E7. Any known issues uploading routes or waypoints. Using a new Navionics Gold chart on mSD.

Hello,
In the iNavX, when you point at a vessel to check its AIS information, a ballon is popped up. the dimensions of the vessel as well as the draft are in feet. Is there any way to see this information in meters ?

I made a small sailors app that can do travel, distance and speeds calculations. Also distances to horizon and visibility of a lighthouse can be calculated.
Learned all these calculations when attending sailorschool but decided to make an app that can handle it as soon as i started developing on my own.

It has been indicated to me by a "Guru" in one of the Apple Centres, that it is no longer possible to use Serial drivers to power an adapter into the USB socket of the latest MacBooks, i.e. those running under OS 10.8.2
Comments would be most welcome?

Does iNavx support the DSC and DSE NMEA strings issued by a DSC radio to plot the position of either a position check or an incoming distress signal?
