Turn off internal compass/display iPad and iNavx

Sorry if this was asked. I did a search and didn't see anything, so I am going to ask.
I love iNavX. However is there a way to turn off/disable/not show the internal compass heading(I think it is HDG) in iNavX on my iPad? I am using the Dual GPS150 and it would drive me an my crew nuts when we were passign the iPad around they way the compass would re-orient the boat and heading. Worked fantastically when it was facing forward, but sitting sideways, the crew would always have to twist to get a "bearing". I am planning on installing an iMux in the spring and want the boat compass to be used and not the iPad, so I am thinking that it will have to be disabled for that as well? Thanks, Joel

iPad to Raymarine

I'm trying to figure out how to use my iPad to plan routes that can then be followed by my Raymarine autopilot (S1000).
My initial inclination was to simply plan out routes on the iPad with iNavX and then export them to my Raymarine C80 which provides data to the AP. Unfortunately, this seems difficult. Basically, I'd have to transfer the routes to a computer, somehow (anyone know how??) convert them to a format that the C80 can read, and then load them onto the C80 through a compact flash card.
I'm now exploring alternatives. If I were to purchase and install a Brookhouse iMux, could I simply use the iPad to drive the AP? Would the iPad use its internal GPS or the Raymarine GPS, and is the internal GPS accurate enough for AP duties? When I don't want to use the iPad, could I seamlessly use the C80? Could I transfer the routes from the iPad to the C80 directly?
Sorry for all the questions...I'm just trying to make some sense of all of this!

USB/Serial Driver, MacENC = HangUp of MacOS

Hy there,
on board i have an older MacBook with MacENC. I'll do serveral tests, and every time I let the MacBook run for more than a few hours the OS will hang up. No warning of MacOS appears, it shows the normal display or screensaver and no input from the keyboard or mouse is possible.
If i run the MacBook without MacENC it runs fine for multiple days with no hangUp.
Has anybody same issues like me?
MacBook, 1,83 Ghz Intel Core Duo
Mac OS 10.6.8
USB HS Serial Converter, Future Technology Devices International Limited, Ver 4.0
MacENC 8.40
Any hints?
Regards
Sven

There's a bug in the new version of AyeTides XL (1.3) that I'm very embarrassed about. I "fixed" a warning from XCode and that fix leads to the crash when viewing the map. I've posted an emergency update to Apple and they should approve it soon. In the meanwhile, don't download v1.3, it's bad. Wait for v1.3.1.
Argh. I hate things like this. Only condolence is, I'm in good company. Several other apps I've bought have had the same thing happen. Still, it's not good and I'm very sorry about the mess.

Hi there,
We are about to take part in the World Cruising ARC trans atlantic rally.
Currently we try to get the last things working with our macs.
Today it is the Navtex. We have a Nasa PC Navtex Pro engine running.
Is there any could mac software you can recommend that work together with the engine?
The only existing topic I have found (http://www.macsailing.net/fbb/showtopic....msearch/1/) is from 2006. It recommends goSerial from www.furrysoft.de as a reader.
Is there newer software?
Is anybody having experience with goSerial?
Thanks a lot.
Patrick

PV 1.3 => 1.7 , ??license lost??

Just did an upgrade from 1.3.4 to 1.7 (OSX 10.7) and I foolishly did not copy the license code that I saw existed in 1.3.4 and told install to 'REPLACE' the old application. Once I figured that the license code was lost and I was back to DEMO I looked in the trash and "NO APP FILE" to run and try to recover the code. ????? Do I have any options ???? probably registered under:: georgelewisray@mac.com /or/ georgelewisray@me.com
....
What ever happens, congrats on product progress.
