I am trying to print wx maps from my ipad. I have airport express and compatible printer. HF weatherfax from Black Cat does not print (i already asked the developer). I'd like to print the OPC maps and other types. Anyone have luck doing this?
Thanks!

I'd like it if iNavX had momentum/inertial scrolling of the chart. It's a bit frustrating that the chart stops immediately when the finger is released while swiping.
Is that possible/feasible?

To insure you have the latest version of iNavX on your device select "App Store", then select "Updates"
Changes include:
"No Location Alarm" in the "Instruments" Setup when enabled will display a visual and audio alert if no location is available for more than 90 seconds.
Waypoints, Routes, Tracks, GRIB files can be imported via email attachments. Just hold down a GPX, KML,KMZ or GRB file attachment in an email and select "Open In..." "iNavX".
Solteknik Swedish Marine Charts 2011 edition.
Navionics Region 34XG 2011 edition.

Using charts without wifi or 3G?

I bought charts from English Channel to Sweden and downloaded them on my iPad 2.
To my big surprise, as I come to UK I cannot use the charts unless I am connected to the web! It needs to be authorized!
Why on earth would you need that? Why can't I just use the charts I payed for?

Has anyone been successful connecting your Oregon 400T or similar to PolarCom so that waypoints may be transferred from PolarNav to Garmin? I'm at a loss so far.

Path back to the chart view (iNavX on iPad)

I'm hung up on the screen which includes "Add more charts to menu/Instruments/Anchor Alarm†etc. I can't find a path back to the chart view. If I click on Instruments, for example, and then click on the iNavX button at the top left, I don't go to the chart view. Just back to that "Add more charts...."
Earlier this morning, I updated a chart. Don't know if that anything to do with the problem, but I have not seen this before.
Would appreciate your help.

iNAVx displays wrong speed (SOG)

I'm using GPS via Bluetooth (Dual GPS). The speed displayed is very erratic, sometimes up to 2 knots less that true SOG as measured by my Garmin handheld.
Any ideas why?

Remote Boat Monitor app

Hello,
I thought you should know about a new app we have recently released for iPhone / iPad and Android called Boat Monitor. Boat Monitor allows you to monitor your boat's position from onshore when you leave it anchored or at the dock. Now you can use your existing devices to keep track of your boat's position and receive alerts wherever you are if your vessel drifts outside of a 'safe zone' that you set up.
We recently got a great review in the Panbo marine electronics blog. Since the article we have released the iOS version (there is a link to it on our website below) and added the ability to set an exclusion zone in the anchor radius, to alert you when the wind shifts, etc.
Let me know if I can answer any questions. You can find our app by searching for 'boat monitor' in the app store or the Android market.
All the best,
Kevin
